About Rosie

Rosie is a beautiful, athletic, long-haired fox red speedster who earned her Master Hunter title at 2 years and 6 months. Once Rosie locks into the “On” position before going to work, she is fast, disciplined, precise and retrieves with primal raw speed and a sense of urgency.

Rosie has puppies that are now HRCH’s and working toward their Master Hunter titles (with focus on the Master National and Grand events this year). She has puppies that are primal hunting/retrieving “machines” in Texas, Louisiana and Illinois, with two of her pups now being dual trained as both waterfowl retrievers and field pointers. Her pups are owned/trained by pro-hunting guides, veterinarians, pro-trainers, avid hunting enthusiasts, and active/frequent travelers.

In addition to the on/off switch folks talk about, there seems to be a third gear that some dogs have, called “Joy”. When Rosie sees training cap/jacket movement in close range of the bumper closet, she turns into some combination of Snoopy gleefully kicking up his heels, and the Tazmanian Devil in his classic tornado spin. And then we go outside and the transition from “Joy” to “Work-horse On” happens instantly with one “Heel up Sweetie”. This unbridled joy, high drive and strong desire to please their human partners, is what we are seeing from Rosie’s first two litters.

The evolving stories, pictures, and accomplishments from pups of these breedings have been great fun to experience, and have been the catalyst for this final litter with Bang.
